Weinheim, 02.06.2017<\/span> +++ The international home improvement industry will meet in Berlin on 8 and 9 June 2017 for its annual Global DIY Summit event. Online Software is using this important platform to present its bot technology solutions with the Amazon Voice System Echo for DIY stores. Based on the PRESTIGEenterprise software platform and the PRESTIGE Bot KIM, Alexa answers questions independently based on all available retail data. In future, the PRESTIGE Bot KIM will be able to help retailers with daily tasks and answer questions about current digital signage systems and their content. For example, \"What content is currently running on the screens in the garden centre?\". On the customer side, Alexa can provide information about current offers or point the way to a specific product.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In addition, a digital shelf for gardening tools will be presented, which provides both sales staff and DIY store customers themselves with retrievable information for products requiring explanation. The digital shelf developed by Online Software AG under the name \"Infinity Shopping Shelf\" goes beyond a pure product presentation and enables the integration of web information via an interface and thus, among other things, the integration of the customer online shop.<\/p>\n

With a compelling mix of top speakers and exciting topics, the 5th Global DIY Summit will once again bring together numerous partners from trade, industry and the service sector for the sector's largest international networking platform. This year, the Summit will also have its own app for the first time, allowing participants to chat with each other. The app is based on the PRESTIGE AppBaukasten from Online Software AG.<\/p>\n
