The Dornseifer Group, based in Sauerland, is one of the largest independent retailers in the Rewe Group with 17 fresh food markets and employs more than 1,000 people.

Dornseifer has decided to offer its customers more transparency about the origin of its animal products and uses animalwelfare.tv . The livestream solution shows customers how the animals whose meat they buy and whose eggs they eat live, with live images directly from the barn. Dornseifer has installed screens near the service counter on which a playlist with live streams from several stables of the regional farmers from whom it sources its animal products is shown.
