The poster and label printing has been created and managed by the WEZ supermarket chain of Karl Preuß GmbH & Co. for many years on the basis of the Prestige 8 software.
In 2009, WEZ also began using digital elements via PRESTIGEenterprise in the service counter area and in the sales area to convey advertising messages. In the meantime, large screens and screen scales from the manufacturer Bizerba inform customers about current offers, new services, special promotions and regional suppliers.
In the new flagship store in Stadthagen you can also find ESL (electronic shelf labels) connected to PRESTIGEenterprise and the tierwohl.tv solution, which gives customers an honest insight into the keeping conditions of the laying hens on a screen on the egg shelf via a live stream to the farmer.
Integration of the photovoltaic system information via PRESTIGEenterprise is another highlight in this branch.
The basic requirement for a system at WEZ was flexibility in the work due to the central supply of content and compatibility with all hardware systems commonly used in retail. Both points were given with Prestige and PRESTIGEenterprise.
