An individual decoration team is responsible for the perfect staging in furniture stores of each of the Möbel Rieger subsidiary. This also includes the production of price labels, promotional posters, ceiling hangers, as well as flyers and installations for internal events. Originating from a very heterogenous landscape of output devices and a variety of isolated solutions of software without a central database of existing assets, the challenge for the future developed from the need to harmonise these processes, as much as possible to automate them and to cover all required output media with one software. The resulting concept implemented by the partner, The ROG Corporation GmbH, uses the PRESTIGEenterprise software for the central planning and distribution of the entire printed ad communications to the stores.
The consistency of the printed posters is guaranteed via templates within the software – text and images can be tailored according to the requirements of the individual store, design, fonts and font sizes remain protected. During the rollout of PRESTIGEenterprise the difficult to administer variety of software in the individual stores of the Rieger Group could be eliminated. Even the printer hardware was modernised during the course of the project, standardised and switched to OKI for small format prints and Epson for large format print.
The ROG Corporation installed the PRESTIGEenterprise software at the Möbel Rieger location in Göppingen, central for all networked stores, and on a Windows Server 2012. An elaborate rights management system was introduced at the same time, by which advertising material templates could be collected and released at one location.
