Our PRESTIGEenterprise software platform is entering the next round with version 5.3.1. In addition to system stability and reliability, the new version, which has been available since March, focusses on data processing and data analysis. In addition, digital media management has been further simplified and the API has been expanded to include additional output media.
PRESTIGEenterprise ClientMonitor
From version 5.3.1, the PRESTIGEenterprise ClientMonitor displays the statistical data of all screens in an easy-to-read donut chart as well as in a clear detailed display of the last 72 hours as a line chart - with a retrievable status and report for each individual screen. The 3-day status history provides the user with a detailed review as a basis for further planning.
In addition, the planned content and the content actually shown on the screen can be compared in the PRESTIGEenterprise ClientMonitor using a screenshot. In contrast to the planned "target" content of the DisplayEngine, the screenshot also shows messages from the screen. This allows unwanted screen settings, e.g. a Windows update prompt, a taskbar in the foreground or the screen saver, to be quickly identified and eliminated.
PrintEngine Service
With the PrintEngine service, a service is installed on the client computer and no longer the PrintEngine as a separate component. One of the advantages of this is that no user login is required on the client computer. The configuration and administration dialogue can be started via an icon in the taskbar without having to call up the PRESTIGEenterprise user interface. In the second stage, the PrintEngine Service controls up to ten printers.
New interfaces and output media
With the integration of Samsung SoC, the WPITCOM mini media player, the integration of a new digital media rail, which was presented for the first time at EuroCIS 2019, and the ESL connection of the manufacturers Delfi and SoluM, PRESTIGEenterprise has taken the support of heterogeneous end device landscapes to a new level.
Configurable expiry date
For a long time now, users have been able to set an expiry date for seasonal and promotional items, at which point the selected content is automatically deleted and is then no longer available for the playlists. With PRESTIGEenterprise 5.3.1, each user can set the time of the notification individually and reduce it to one day before content deletion. This is a really helpful extension of this function, especially for power users who create extensive, regionally differing in-store TV programmes.
Playlist mixer with extended sorting option
Effective digital POS promotion depends not only on the content, but also on the structure of the playlists. PRESTIGEenterprise version 5.3.1 has expanded the playlist mixer to include alphanumeric sorting so that playlists can be ideally organised and the order of the playlist elements perfectly matched. Users now have the option of arranging their playlists alphabetically by event name or chronologically by modification date. The names of the playlist dates can be assigned individually by the user. The sorting of the playlists according to the last start date of the event remains standard if no event name has been assigned.
GS1 DataBar expanded
PRESTIGEenterprise 5.3.1 also allows the generation and use of the GS1 DataBar expanded, in which significantly more additional information can be stored than in any other barcode.
Imprint integration
PRESTIGEenterprise 5.3.1 offers the integration of an imprint link with redirection to an imprint page, which is displayed to the user in PRESTIGEenterprise on the login page and in the navigation bar. This additional source of information is particularly interesting for companies with an association structure.
Animated content for scales
Version PRESTIGEenterprise 5.3.1 enables the playback of animated templates and videos on the Mettler Toledo FreshWay scales. With the PRESTIGEenterprise LiveInfo & eLearning module, additional information can be called up on the operator side. The CrossMerchandising module also enables the automatic display of product recommendations. In addition to appetising images, moving image content on the customer's screen can now attract the customer's attention and increase sales.
