Content Management System (CMS)

A Content Management System (CMS) is software that can be used to upload, edit, organise, publish and distribute content such as text, images, animations and videos. One of the main functions of a content management system is to create content - ideally with the help of design templates - and to edit it. The more professionally a content management system is set up, the more detailed the settings can be, for example with regard to user rights and data sources.
