Speaker: Dr Frank Thiedig, Retail Media Consultant
Retail media has been discussed in the specialist media for two to three years as the new source of income for bricks-and-mortar retail. What is retail media in the context of bricks-and-mortar retail and what potential does it have? Is there a new business idea behind the buzzword or is it old wine in new bottles? In the webinar, Dr Frank Thiedig will use the example of some retail media programmes to classify the topic and demonstrate its potential using practical implementations.

Dynamic, customised information provision at the POS of brick-and-mortar shops is a decisive competitive advantage across all media - printed and digital. The extensive data analysis and content provision options of AI-based POS media systems enable the production and provision of playlists that reach the customer directly and take current influencing factors into account. We show how PRESTIGEenterprise uses extensive AI language models to ensure that retail-specific information such as the weekly offers are transferred from the previous flyer to printed or digital media in retail shops in the context of external data. Automated and in real time.

Electronic shelf labels are revolutionising the way prices and product information are presented and managed at the POS in stationary retail. Once the hardware for the electronic price tags is in place, the biggest challenge is to control the price labelling. What needs to be considered when integrating the ESL system into the existing IT landscape? How do you get the right information onto the electronic labels and what needs to be taken into account in the layout? We will show you how you can manage your ESL content with PRESTIGEenterprise and explain why it makes sense to use manufacturer-independent software for ESL management.
Speakers: Jürgen Berens von Rautenfeld, Board Member Online Software AG // David Frei, Director Enterprise Sales FRAMEN
Retail media is one of the most important trends in retail and opens up an additional source of revenue for retailers at the stationary point of sale. With PRESTIGEenterprise 6.3, displays in steles or large-format screens in shops can be opened up as advertising channels for selected industry partners in order to reach customers in bricks-and-mortar retail at the right time and in the right place with relevant advertising content. This has two advantages for retailers: More sales through targeted industry campaigns and additional revenue from the digital advertising space sold.
In this webinar, we will show you how you as a retailer can easily use your existing displays for retail media with the new PRESTIGEenterprise Retail Media Server module and the RetailMediaEngine in conjunction with the FRAMEN SSP marketing platform.

Two new changes in the labelling of meat are coming to the food trade in the near future: Firstly, the state animal husbandry labelling (TierHaltKennzG), which is intended to create transparency for consumers with regard to the way animals are kept and must first be implemented for pork. Secondly, the new regulation on origin labelling for fresh meat will come into force on 11 February 2024. This means that consumers will be informed about the origin of every piece of fresh, chilled and frozen meat from these animals from the beginning of 2024. Previously, this was only mandatory for pre-packed meat. With PRESTIGEenterprise, you are ideally equipped for the changeover of your price labelling to counter cards at the service counter and in your printed and digital POS communication.

Retailers are already using screens to address customers digitally in-store, communicating offers, events, services and much more. Together with FRAMEN, Online Software has developed a solution to open up these screens in the store as advertising channels for selected industry partners without giving up control over the advertising content. The retailer retains 100 per cent control over what is shown, on which screens it is shown and in what proportion it is shown in relation to their own content.
In this webinar, we will show you how you as a retailer can use PRESTIGEenterprise Retail Media as an automatic source of revenue - without any loss of quality.
