Change of provider for ECR Tag app. PRESTIGEenterprise-based app construction kit simplifies content maintenance. Numerous new functions promote participant interaction.
Heidelberg, 24/09/2024 +++ This year, ECR Day is once again offering its more than 800 participants an event app, based for the first time on the AppBaukasten online software. The new app not only makes it easier for participants to find their way around, but also to plan their personal conference schedule. Several parallel events will take place over two days in different rooms at different locations. A colour coding system supported by selectable favourites helps participants to plan their individual programme.
This year more than ever, the app promotes communication between participants, but also with the speakers, exhibitors and sponsors. The chat integrated into the app makes it possible to contact other participants and speakers, arrange to meet up or exchange information, even if there is no time for a coffee together. The profile can be customised by the participants with their own picture. The ticket is also integrated into the app and can be called up as a scannable QR code.
Of course, the app is password-protected so that only participants can benefit from networking and data exchange. The pictures from the event can also only be viewed by the participants - the pictures are uploaded to the app during the event. Most participants regularly check the app because they enjoy looking at their own pictures.
"For us as organisers, the event app is an indispensable communication tool. But of course, all the information has to be continuously updated in the app. The online software's AppBaukasten enables us to easily maintain content so that we can react quickly to organisational changes," explains Markus Zey, Manager Partner Engagement at GS1 Germany, adding "This saves us a lot of work, relieves the organisational team and leaves more time for personal support for speakers, sponsors and participants."
