Since April 2021, REWE Homberg & Budnik has installed a screen at its service counter and at the egg shelf, where consumers are given an insight into the conditions in which the animals are kept via livestream. This is honoured with a lot of attention and praise from customers. Transparency, authenticity and credibility are the basis for increased consumer confidence, particularly in the food retail sector.
