PRESTIGEenterprise interface to electronic shelf labels (ESL) from Delfi Technologies released for seamless POS promotion.
Weinheim, 11 April 2018 +++ Many retailers already use the PRESTIGEenterprise software platform to manage their entire pricing and advertising communication for printed and digital output media. With the release of the interface between PRESTIGEenterprise and the Breece software from Danish manufacturer Delfi Technologies, the wide range of digital output media in the area of electronic shelf labels is being expanded.
Electronic shelf labelling has evolved from a pure price display to a strategic POS advertising tool for retailers. Real-time price changes offer stationary retailers major advantages - whether in terms of competition-sensitive prices or the sheer necessity of synchronising with their own e-commerce offering. Where previously only seasonal changes took place, it is now possible and necessary to react ever more quickly to external factors.
Customers expect more and more product information on the shelf. In addition to the price, shoppers respond to information on allergens, environmental friendliness or the origin of the product. Electronic labels have long been able to display this information, provided by PRESTIGEenterprise, in full graphic form with graphics, images and QR codes.
Last but not least, electronic shelf labelling reduces manual price labelling, which is very time-consuming for retailers, to just a few minutes and automatically adjusts centrally specified information without the need for personnel.
The interface to the electronic shelf labels from Delfi Technologies, which has been released with immediate effect, can now be used by PRESTIGEenterprise users for their price and product labelling directly at the shelf on Delfi Technologies systems. Via the integrated interface, the digital shelf labels can be integrated into the PRESTIGE world in the same way as other POS output media, so that retailers can run their entire advertising communication via PRESTIGEenterprise.
