Heidelberg, 3 March 2023 +++ Online Software once again welcomed many international visitors to its stand at EuroShop 2023. Over 81,000 trade visitors made their way to Düsseldorf this year to experience the latest retail trends live.
"The top topics for visitors at EuroShop 2023 included retail media quality marketing (programmatic advertising @ POS) together with Axel Springer subsidiary Framen and the manufacturer-independent connection of our PRESTIGEenterprise software platform to electronic shelf labels (ESL) from market-leading providers," explains Jürgen Berens von Rautenfeld, CEO of Online Software AG, adding "The integration of a chatGPT client for the AI-based autonomous creation of sales-boosting digital POS advertising attracted a lot of attention as a technical innovation presented for the first time."
Visitors also showed great interest in the very easy-to-implement Scan & Go solution with a smartphone app and the use of mobile apps to digitally accompany events and functions. The tierwohl.tv solution, which shows live streams from the barn directly at the POS, was an eye-catcher for many visitors - and not just from the food retail sector. The solution has been ready for the market since 2020 and was shown on a scale for the first time at EuroShop. In combination with the weighed cheese or meat, it is also possible to display relevant information about the farmer.
Whether electronic shelf labels (ESL) or printed price tags, screens or posters, checkouts, scales or apps, content management is a challenge for the centralised marketing of large retail companies. Each display medium often comes with its own software as a stand-alone solution.
