In 2025, Möbel Heinrich introduced electronic price labels (ESL) in the specialised product range for its furniture store in Steinheim. The fully integrated solution is based on the merchandise management system from partner SHD and PRESTIGEenterprise as the software for the ESL design and the planning and distribution of the prices on the ESLs, some of which change on a weekly basis. Planning and rollout went extremely quickly thanks to the partnership-based co-operation and the long-standing business relationship based on trust.
The ESLs are used in different sizes and centrally controlled via PRESTIGEenterprise - for efficient price updates and a modern customer approach directly at the shelf.
Thanks to the close cooperation with SHD and the consulting firm LNConsult, the project was successfully implemented in just a few weeks. Möbel Heinrich benefits from seamless IT integration, optimised processes and a forward-looking system for digital sales floor communication.
The replacement of electronic shelf labels is part of the company's digital transformation and will soon be extended to the other stores. The aim is to increase the integration of digital elements on the sales floor - from ESLs to displays, large-scale digital signage installations will also play a role in the design of the customer approach in future.
