PRESTIGEenterprise 6.4 released: Scalable ESL management and improved usability for chain stores

The new update is primarily aimed at scaling Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) installations and brings a host of usability improvements.

Heidelberg, 14 May 2025 +++ The online software presents the new version of its proven communication platform for the retail trade: PRESTIGEenterprise 6.4. The current version is aimed particularly at retail companies with branch structures and offers targeted improvements in the scalability of electronic price labels (ESL), media management and user-friendliness.

Manage ESL installations even more easily and efficiently
The connection of electronic price tags has long been one of the central functions of PRESTIGEenterprise. With version 6.4, this proven capability has now been further developed specifically for use in large-scale installations. The result: noticeably higher performance, improved stability even with very large data volumes and continued full flexibility in the choice of manufacturer and model. Optimised error logging also offers greater transparency and efficiency in the technical monitoring of complex systems.

Simpler media management for the POS
Handling images and graphics is now even more convenient: with PRESTIGEenterprise 6.4, files can be imported directly via the front end - without additional tools or detours. In addition, media content can be specifically assigned to graphics and management groups - for a better overview and more efficient organisation, especially in large branch networks. Working with images and graphics is also significantly simplified thanks to the new drag-and-drop function.

More user-friendliness - less effort
The new update also has a lot to offer in terms of usability. The user interface has been further developed in many areas to make day-to-day work even more intuitive. The new version enables significantly simplified group management for branch and department structures, convenient arrangement of article data using drag-and-drop and more targeted data selection thanks to extended filter functions. In addition, detailed print status messages and flexible export options in Excel or CSV format offer greater transparency and control over processes - ideal for both centralised control and branch operations.
