The connection of 4,400 Netto shops to the SSP1 marketing platform via the PRESTIGEenterprise software creates one of the largest retail media networks in Germany. For the first time, marketers can now book their advertising programmatically and comprehensively at the point of sale at Netto Marken-Discount.

Netto is making its digital instore areas available for this - screens in the checkout zones and steles in the entrance area - but retains responsibility for the content. The discounter can continue to broadcast its own advertising messages and also authorise campaigns from industry partners.

The interaction between PRESTIGEenterprise and SSP1 opens up standardised processes, data-driven display and transparent reporting. With PRESTIGEenterprise, Online Software provides Netto with the standard platform for digital in-store communication - from screens and electronic shelf labels to interactive kiosk systems. The platform provider, One Tech Group, supplies the programmatic infrastructure with SSP1. Marketing of Moments (MoM) is responsible for marketing, campaign management and reporting for the industry partners.

Campaigns by both endemic and non-endemic advertisers reach a good 25 per cent of the German population at a relevant moment for Netto Marken-Discount.
