Skill management for Alexa - solutions for voice control at the POS for retailers and customers
More and more retail companies are already achieving their End customers at home via Alexa. Crisp offers, important news and information, e.g. on upcoming events, can be called up from Alexa at home via a customised retailer skill. Data maintenance via the PRESTIGEenterprise mobile portal is simple and very flexible. But also at the POS, end customers can Use Alexa. With KIM Travel, they can ask Alexa about the latest travel offers and have the appropriate adverts displayed on the screen. With the KIM Shopping skill, customers can ask Alexa for a product. PRESTIGEenterprise then plays a suitable offer on the screen and shows the way to the product.
Voice control offers dealers in conjunction with the PRESTIGE bots, offers completely new access to information from the PRESTIGEenterprise software. Via an interface, the Alexa voice system can answer questions about current POS systems and their content, for example. The retailer can receive a status report on the existing data in PRESTIGEenterprise. This tells them briefly and concisely whether all screens have been supplied with content, all print jobs have been completed or how many visitors have opened their store app.
PRESTIGEenterprise Cockpit - more overview for your playlists
Many retailers want a better overview of what is currently running on their screens. Online Software has responded to this and is presenting a cockpit solution from PRESTIGEenterprise at EuroCIS 2018. Similar to a video wall, all installed screens, including the currently running advertising programme, are clearly displayed next to or below each other. This makes it quick and easy to visualise what content the screens are actually showing at any given time, as well as which screens are currently inactive or even causing problems. This enables excellent control and quick action.
Advertising success monitoring by PRESTIGEenterprise - turning data into information
Measuring the efficiency of Digital signage Campaigns and advertising activities at the POS are becoming increasingly important. Knowing how often which adverts were shown on the POS media and how much sales increased in the same period can significantly improve both advertising planning and the advertising impact at the POS.
Together with SAP consultancy Allgeier, Online Software is using an SAP-supported solution to show how the advertising impact of product advertising can be visualised at a glance as part of in-store communication. The robot's comprehensive service competences are based on the connection to existing software systems, context-sensitive voice interaction, facial recognition and VoIP connectivity.
